Job Description Registered Sleep Technologist Opportunity In Beautiful Gettysburg, PA
About the Position Under general supervision, performs a variety of tests and studies related to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders according to established standards and practices.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:
Schedules, performs and evaluates the technical validity of overnight sleep studies, nocturnal pulse oximetry, and other related studies.
Sets up and applies polysomnographic monitoring devices, ensuring patient safety and accurate test results.
Provides summary analysis/reports of all polysomnographic studies for physician review.
Instructs patient in the home use of therapeutic devices.
Qualifications
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) in PA
CPR certification
Strong communication skills and computer skills
Associate’s Degree
