We are seeking a Full time Registered Nurse Team Lead for our state-of-the-art Health & Wellness Center located at Walt Disney World ® near Orlando, Florida. This position will work collaboratively with our entire healthcare team to provide the highest quality preventive, acute and chronic care. This position allows you to work in a patient-centric environment utilizing best practices both clinically and technologically. This modern facility is equipped with lab and x-ray services with easy access to these services for employee convenience. The successful candidates will have an excellent knowledge base to perform primary care services including examinations, assessments, treatments and appropriate referrals.
The Disney Health and Wellness Center is open every day of the week (Monday-Friday from 7am-7pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-5pm). This position is required to work Monday-Friday with weekend and holiday rotations.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with Clinical Services Manager to provide leadership to medical assistant team and other areas as assigned.
• Assists in the recruitment and selection of staff members, including interviewing candidates and training new staff members as it pertains to medical assistants
• Assesses, manages, and evaluates the performance and development of the medical assistants
• Manages and monitors clinic staff schedules
• Oversees the nursing care of all patients
• Provides direct patient care Identifies emergency situations, and provides care within legal scope of practice
• Participates in appropriate client and TCHS committees as requested
• Directs preparation and maintenance of patients' clinical records
• Provides direction to ensure environment is clean and safe, that infection control procedures are followed, and patient privacy is upheld
• Oversees ordering and maintenance of supplies, drugs, solutions, and equipment, and maintains records on narcotics, if applicable
• Participates in Quality Improvement, Risk Management activities and completes TCHS occurrence reports as needed. Investigates and resolves complaints
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associates' degree (A.S.) required. Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university preferred .
• Minimum three years clinical experience required as a Registered Nurse . Experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic preferred.
• Minimum three years supervisory experience required
• Current license as Registered Nurse in the state of Florida required
• Current training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
• Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software required .
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Certification in Emergency Nursing, or Certificate in Case Management preferred
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
