Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists at Alta View Hospital's Same Day Surgery unit. This position will support the main Same Day Unit as well as our new Surgical Center, located on the Alta View Hospital's campus. In this position you will have an opportunity to work with a friendly/supportive staff and develop or fine tune your assessment skills. You will have an opportunity to work with a variety of cases including: ENT, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Podiatry and Ophthalmology.
This position is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutically effective care on the patient unit to which assigned. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.
This is a part time, 24 hour a week position.
Minimum Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in state of practice
- This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .
- One year of RN work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- One year RN work experience. in a Same Day Surgery or PACU environment
