We are currently seeking PRN Registerd Nurses (RN) to join our employee health center in Marysville, OH !

Responsibilities:

• Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards of practice and established scopes of practice for licensed practical nurses
• Assists with the preparation of equipment and aids the physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients
• Observes, records, and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians. Administers prescribed medications as directed and in accordance with the established scope of practice
• Oversees appointment bookings and ensures preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Maintains timely flow of patients
• Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests
• Arranges for patient testing and admissions
• Responds to and refers incoming telephone calls. Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions
• Formulates and updates patient care plans. Orders, prepares, and inspects patients charts. Posts tests and examination results
• Responsible for preparation of exam rooms including re-stocking of treatment areas
• Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested
• Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations

Requirements • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Minimum three years experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic preferred.

• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of Ohio required.

• Current training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers required.

• Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software required.
