Under the general direction of the department manager or
designee, provides professional nursing care through assessment,
planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient
care. Functions as an associate to a charge nurse and begins to
assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements for Hawaii state
licensing. Current Hawaii RN license. Current BLS/HCP
card. One year RN acute care experience.

Preferred: Two years recent registered nurse experience in
nursing area of specialty. Bachelor’s Degree in
Nursing. Acute hospital experience within previous three
years.
