Description Build and enhances an active network of Mentors (Foster Parents) through the strategic recruitment and selection of qualified Mentors. Develops and implements recruiting and retention tracking tools and strategies. Measures success of campaign effectiveness creating and designing new campaigns as needed to continuously attract new Mentors. Conducts home study evaluations, including psychosocial assessments. Primary focus of job, however, is recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and Posting of marketing and advertising materials
- Outreach in communities to develop appropraite rescources
- Screen applicants
- Conduct clinical assesment
- Process background checks and reference checks
- Assisting in coordinating and leading pre-service orientation
- Processing initial and ongoing required HR protocols and paperwork
- Meeting productivity and quality standards as outlined by Recruiter Manager
- Maintaining records per regulatory and company policies
-Conducting quarterly health and safety reviews and other recruitment tasks
- Assisting with any other duties assigned Recruiter Manager
Qualifications Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Human Services or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years of related Human Services experience required
- Knowledge of the foster care system preferred

SUMMARY
Recruits Mentors and coordinates the licensing process of opening new homes. Conducts home study evaluations, makes clinical assessments, and ensures documentation is complete and accurate in accordance to state compliance with licensing regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.
Conducts initial home study evaluations.
Coordinates all steps in the certification process including clinical and written assessment.
In conjunction with extensive written and verbal communication with the State Office of Licensing, compiles and submits information and advises management on whether or not to proceed on certification of a home.
Completes reports making recommendations to management for certification. Assists the Program Manager, Intake and mangement staff in ""client match"" meetings. Maintains appropriate records in compliance with funding source requirements. Develops and implements mentor recruiting and retention programs. Records and maintains the statistics necessary to measure the effectiveness of various mentor recruitment and retention efforts.
Responsible for the coordination of training for all applicants including CPR and First Aid training, training on the client population, health, normalization, history of mentor, fire and safety. Performs other related duties and activities as required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human services and three years of related human services experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation for individual receiving services.
