The Radiologic Tech A performs general diagnostic imaging services to include portable radiography and general operating room procedures. Technologist will be responsible for all pre and post activities associated with each exam. EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE: Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must possess a certificate in Radiologic Technology. New graduates from accredited Schools of Radiology accepted. Must be licensed in the State of Maryland. Must possess ARRT Certification and CPR Certification. Must possess skills in the areas of general radiographic procedures; communication; patient care; customer service; team work; organizational skills; radiation safety. Must be able to assist patients from stretchers and wheelchairs. May be asked to work evening/night shifts and/or 12 hour shifts.
