The Dietitian position will support our Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic to be located between Cortland and Tompkins, NY.
The selected individual will be responsible for providing: * Services of a Registered or Registration Eligible Dietitian during normal working hours for Diet education program including modified diet education as well as sound nutrition practices. * Group or individual counseling as needed and based on referral volumes. * Monitoring and tracking patient care outcomes as a result of Dietitian intervention for QA/CQI. * Providing support to the Managing Overweight/Obesity for Veterans Everyway (MOVE) program.
QUALIFICATIONS: * Baccalaureate Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition or related field. * Current unrestricted Dietetics and Nutrition license to practice in the state of New York. * 2 years experience as an Dietician, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting. *Must be registered with the American Dietetic Association orhave completed the requirements for registration.
