Job Description
As a member of the US Medication Delivery (USMD) Commercial Operations team, will serve as a critical thought partner by working closely with the USMD's Leadership Team and Business Operations Leadership Team on all Power-UP initiatives for the US Region.
This role will also serve a key role in facilitating all Process Excellence initiatives and contributing to establishing and maintaining a continuous process improvement culture and infrastructure within the USMD business.
Focus includes:
1. Lead and manage a variety process excellence projects aimed at removing non-value added activities therefore reducing costs, improving delivery and building customer satisfaction within USMD Commercial Operations.
2. Working closely with Sr. Leaders/Business Process Owners to identify, secure, train/develop, and coach resources to achieve the initiative's short and long term goals
3. Serve as a change agent for the USMD business and assist all employees with effectively implementing process improvements both internally and potentially externally with customers as project impacts dictate.
4. Delivering significant and measurable business results by leading complex strategic process improvement projects, and coaching process improvement projects
5. Helping define technology enhancements and recommending requirements necessary to improve performance, pipeline management, and on time service delivery.
6. Disseminating information, driving standardization and collaboration, resolving issues, and leading teams to identify and improve key performance metrics
7. Assist Process Excellence Leader in leading a variety of improvement activities to drive Process Excellence thinking and culture across USMD.
Job Requirements
1. Ability to effectively facilitate large groups of people in both learning and problem-solving environments in order to inspire learning and excitement about growing a continuous improvement culture within USMD.
2. Knowledge of business problem solving methodology (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean, Business Process Management and Reengineering, Continuous Improvement, or similar)
3. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
4. Ability to communicate in clear, concise manner with all levels of the organization. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Ability to: influence with or without authority, facilitate groups with diverse perspectives, and bring teams to consensus/alignment. Must possess good project management skills to lead teams indirectly to effectively juggle multiple priorities and deliver timely business results.
6. Ownership and Accountability: takes accountability for actions, drives results, and learns from mistakes. Is direct and truthful and therefore widely respected/trusted - delivers on promises, goals, and expectations. Makes quality decisions and resolves problems rapidly
7. Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and adapt. Able to synthesize large amount of information. Able to deliver results despite shifting environment.
8. Self-starting and strong desire to take on increased levels of responsibility
Bachelor's Degree required. Black Belt and/or Lean Certification with three to five years previous project management and coaching experience is preferred.
Transactional Lean Six Sigma in Healthcare industry including finance, sales, marketing, operations, quality and supply chain is preferred.
