Pre-Analytic Tech Department: Baton Rouge Family Medical Clinic Schedule: Part-time Shift: Day shift Hours: Job Details: JOB PURPOSE OR MISSION: Responsible for performing phlebotomy duties in the collection of blood samples through the use of skin puncture and venipunture. Performs duties in the pre-analytic phase of testing by preparing samples for testing and delivering to the laboratory departments. Adheres to all procedures for collecting and preparing laboratory specimens. Maintains accurate medical records of specimens. High School graduate or equivalent with a minumum of two years phlebotomy and specimen processing experience required.
