Take Care Health Systems is looking for a Per diem Physician to join our health center team!
Responsibilities include:

  • Direct provision of clinical medical services to our clients' employees.
  • Consult with subject matter experts internally and externally.
  • Support the initiation and maintenance of health care information technology and electronic medical records.
  • Ensure that high quality, service-oriented patient care is delivered on a consistent basis in accordance with best practices model in all health centers nationally.
  • Evaluate occupational related medical complaints.
  • Set vision and clear goals for health services in collaboration with the clients' management.
  • Demonstrate business and financial acumen to ensure the cost effective operation of health services to optimize financial performance.
  • Share responsibility for staff recruitment and retention.
  • Oversee, edit and review clinical content in communications, marketing and educational materials written for internal consumption.
  • Experience with Travel Medicine.
  • Serve as clinical manager providing medical support, oversight and direction to MLOA staff in review of employee cases.
  • Provide clinical leadership in the development of clinical components of case management products.

Requirements Job Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine and/or Occupational Health
  • Current state licensure.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Ambulatory Care or Occupational Health setting
  • Current certification of Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers is required
  • Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification may be required
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Proven integrity and clinical excellence
  • Ability to mentor and develop others
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of the organization both internal and external
  • Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs, specifically Electronic Medical Record (EMR etc.)
  • Occasional travel - training and/or meetings
