NOTE: This position is a one-year program salaried at $46,984.00 per year.
With the supervision/direction of the Director of General Surgery/Trauma and other designated attendings, performs as an integral member of the surgical team, providing surgical/critical care/trauma patient care, including pre- and post-operative, from admission to discharge in the General Surgery/Trauma practice of WakeMed Faculty Physicians. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Faculty Physicians.
Experience Requirements : Education Requirements : Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements : Successful completion of national board examination via National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Licensed and registered annually with NC Medical Board as a Physician Assistant-Certified.
