Job Description
A Physical Therapy Aide has a variety of office responsibilities in which they are contributing to a friendly and helpful office environment. This position will warmly greet and assist patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, file, send bills and maintain patient records.
The Physical Therapy Aide is a member of the healing team by educating patients on exercise and equipment usage, applying or removing braces and/or wraps, preparing patient rooms, stocking supplies and operating exercise equipment.
The Aide works closely with the Physical Therapist and other team members to ensure the best quality care possible for patients and their families while in the Rehab facility.
Entry Rate: $9.91/hr
Benefits Eligible: No
Shift Details: This position will work afternoons/evenings Monday through Friday

Minimum Requirements
- This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .
- Excellent Interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to develop a positive rapport with patients and team members
- Self motivated and ability to multi-task
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical activity
- Ability to lift and transfer patients independently and safely
- Ability to maneuver, set-up and troubleshoot equipment
- Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, and Walking
