Acute PTs and OTs treat patients that are currently hospitalized in an acute hospital setting. Normally, post neurological, cardiac and/or orthopedic surgeries. The PTs and OTs will travel from their offices to the patient rooms. Patients are normally in ICU, Neuroscience Units, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Telemetry, Medical/Surgical Units, or Medical/Oncology units. Inpatient Rehabilitation treats patients in a typical rehabilitation hospital setting. Del Sol's Inpatient Rehab is located on hospital grounds. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals is CARF accredited and possess seasoned therapy staff that could easily help precept a new grad. We prefer experience, but are definitely open to new grads. Skills/Requirements EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately) B.S. in Physical Therapy required LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: (list required and preferred separately) Board certified by Texas State Board of Physical Therapy required. BCLS Certification required. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately) 1-2 years preferred New graduates accepted SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of Physical Therapy principles and practices, general anatomy and physiology, diseases and post surgical conditions, body movements and functions, and medical terminology. Has Team approach,mentorship program .Chest pain certified,Neuro/Stoke accreditation *****$15K sign on bonus to PTs with over 3 years experience, with a 3yr commitment (paid quarterly after 120 days of employment) For PTs with less than 3 years of experience, we are still offering the $8K sign on for a 2yr commitment. We also offer relocation reimbursement, and in some cases, have received approval for the Student Loan Repayment Program (monthly reimbursement program up to $400/mo, with a cap of $14.5K in reimbursement overall). |
