JOB DESCRIPTION:
Works under the direct supervisor of a licensed physical/occupational/speech therapist and/or physical/occupational therapist assistant to perform therapeutic treatment. Assists as an acute care physical medicine team member encouraging and promoting independence of the patient and the patient's family.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Six months experience preferably in hospitals, desirable or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in ADL/Transfer techniques preferred but not required. High school graduate or equivalent (GED) and BCLS certificationn required.
