Phlebotomist/Satellite Department: Satellite Lab Schedule: Part-time Shift: Day Shift Hours: Day Shift Job Details: Obtain Blood samples by venipuncture, fingerstick, or heelstick. Provide instruction and/or assistance with the collection of non-blood specimens. Obtain selected culture specimens. Ability to use the Hospital information system for registration. The ability to use the Laboratory information system to enter laboratory orders and process samples for shipment to the Laboratory. Completion of a formal Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Program is required. One year of recent phlebotomy working experience is required.
