Duties: Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and skills required of personnel so classified. * Responsible for overseeing primary home care attendants. * Will recruit, employ and supervise the attendant to ensure that service is provided to client in accordance with Detailed Task Assignment Plan. * Applies nursing skills and knowledge in the management of a caseload of clients. * Responsible for hiring, training, and orienting attendants * Makes a home visit at least every 60 days to assess clients needs and attendant performance * Monitor Medicaid eligibility status of client on a monthly basis Qualifications: General Background and Minimum Requirements: * Current LVN license in state of TX * Experience managing others * Review of computerized charting preferred * Must possess the necessary knowledge, ability, willingness, and skills to provide nursing care. * Upbeat, positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environment * An absolute love of patient care and the desire to be the best!
