Pharmacy Tech Department: Pharmacy Schedule: Active Per Diem/Per Visit /FFS Shift: Per Diem/Per Visit/FFS Hours: As Needed Job Details: Support and assist the staff pharmacists in the ethical practice of pharmacy on a daily basis by processing orders and preparing medications and IV's under the supervision of a pharmacist in a timely manner. Ensure delivery to the patient care area so that the patient receives the correct medications at the correct time. Requirements include one year hospital experience or equivalent experience and the ability to communicate well in English; and certification as pharmacy tech., equivalent certification, or the ability to gain certification within 6 months. UD, IV and computer skills a plus.
