The Performance Support Specialist, RN is responsible for the application of theoretical principles of adult learning as it relates to meeting the clinical and business goals of WakeMed Physician Network. Act as a resource to staff on multiple levels and in various capacities, as directed by the manager and leadership team to support adherence to professional standards, regulatory and licensing agency requirements, and organizational policies/procedures and protocols. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Physician Network.
Experience Requirements : Minimum of 5 years of recent nursing experience to include ambulatory care or experience in a similar position in another organization with responsibilities of policy/procedure, regulatory agency review, performance improvement required.
Education Requirements : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements : Current RN license in North Carolina with no substantiated findings required.
Hours of Work : 20 hrs / week between Mon - Fri. 8 am - 5 pm
