The Patient Care Associate is a care partner who will participate with the interdisciplinary care team in the delivery of the patient's plan of care under the immediate supervision of the RN. The PCA provides hands on patient care and will assist the RN and other team members with treatments, procedures, and reporting pertinent information to the appropriate care team member. The PCA also is responsible for observing and operating monitoring equipment on the unit.
Requirements: High School or GED required
CNA certification with the state of Wisconsin required
6 months - 2 years C.N.A experience, ideally in an acute care environment preferred
