| Quinte Health Care is currently seeking applicants for the following permanent positions: OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (part time) Quinte Children's Treatment Centre As a member of our dynamic multidisciplinary team the successful candidate will be responsible to complete assessments, set goals and develop and implement treatment programs for children and youth with neurological and or developmental disabilities. As the successful candidate you will require a University degree in Occupational Therapy and be eligible to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Ontario. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and work in a family centered model of care. Pediatric experience, including experience in the assessment of children with autism and sensory disorders would be an asset. CLINICAL EDUCATOR -OR/MINOR SURGERY/REPROCESSING/ENDOSCOPY SERVICES (full time) The successful candidate will work with the Managers, Professional Practice Department, clinical staff, and members of the inter-professional team to assess, plan, develop and evaluate learning strategies to meet their learning needs in delivering quality, safe patient care, aligned with the unit practice standards. As the successful candidate you will possess or be eligible for licensure with the CNO and have a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and post graduate Certification in Operating Room nursing. Minimum of three years of recent, relevant nursing experience in the Operating Room and minimum of two years in the other phases of pre and post surgical or critical care. CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST -PREADMISSION & MINOR SURGERY CLINICS (full time) As a member of our dynamic multidisciplinary team the successful candidate will collaborate with surgeons, the anesthesia care team, primary physicians and other health care team members in planning, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive patient care plan. You will coordinate patients care with consultants and members of the surgical care team and schedule/co-ordinate procedures, tests and assessments. As the successful candidate you will be a member of RNAO, possess or be eligible for licensure with the CNO and have a Masters Degree in Nursing together with a minimum of four years of recent clinical experience relevant to the position.
