Under general supervision and according to established procedures, assists requestors with retrieval of medical records. Assuring patients charts have all medical record documents filed before releasing a chart. Maintains files and assures timely and accurate retrieval and refiling procedures are followed.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent or substantial applicable work experience is required. Ability to work with high volume and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with groups at various professional levels, i.e. physicians and other care providers. PC skills required (Meditech, Microsoft).
