Job Summary:
Join a leading provider of outpatient surgery services in Miami-Dade! As the only multi-specialty free-standing outpatient surgery center in the Miami Lakes/Hialeah area, this facility provides advanced technology and techniques for elective outpatient procedures in a warm, friendly environment. Reporting to the Center Administrator, the Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall management of daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity and patient satisfaction goals and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: -Provide high-quality patient care to patients -Act as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians and employees -Direct and manage the operations and activities of the Operating Room, Pre-op/Holding, Post Recovery Room and GI areas -Supervise clinical and ancillary staff -Continuously analyze and evaluate all nursing services rendered to improve clinical outcomes -Manage staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities to meet both facility and regulatory requirements -Ensure the efficient operation of departments and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs
Requirements:
-Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing -5+ years Operating Room experience -Bachelor degree in a related field -Minimum 3-5 years Outpatient surgical experience, including management role -Current RN License in the State of Florida -CPR, ACLS, PALS and CNOR certification
