Job Summary:
The Manager provides direction and oversight to a specific unit within the medical center. The Manager is responsible for effectively managing the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well being of all patients in the assigned department on a 24 hour, 7 days/week basis. The Manager is responsible for meeting the strategic initiatives that highlight the Five Pillars of Success (Growth, Service, People, Quality, and Financial). The Manager espouses the mission, values and ethics of the corporation, hospital and nursing department and serves as a professional role model.
