Donor Services Supervisor: The Donor Services department is seeking an experienced supervisor to manage and supervise blood collection activities on our mobile drives on a part time or full time basis. Nurses with past supervisory experience who can commit to working a varied schedule that includes rotating weekends are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: You will utilize your leadership, clinical, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead the collection staff and to ensure that all blood collection is conducted in accordance with regulatory codes. You will also play an important role in fostering a positive work environment through the training and coaching of our staff. You may also take and record medical history, perform venipuncture on volunteer donors, remaining constantly aware of donor safety, providing excellent customer service to each donor. Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing with Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse license in RI. One year supervisory experience preferred. Progressive Blood Banking experience (5 yrs) including donor, staff and management experience, in lieu of education requirement will be considered. CPR certification.
