The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervision of all nursing and unit-based personnel on the designated shift in order to provide a safe environment for optimum patient care. Assist in implementing policies and procedures to achieve desired goals and objectives. Facilitate in the development of budgets, continued quality improvement and councilor management programs.
We offer an 83-bed unit that is technologically equipped, yet family centered. Our babies are cared for 24 hours a day by board certified Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, a team of highly trained professional nurses, Dietitians, Respiratory Therapists, Lactation Consultants, Social Workers, Family Care Coordinators and Pharmacists. We truly function as a multidisciplinary team!
We are known for the quality care we provide to our patients and their families and we are proud to offer you an intense internship that will teach you the advanced clinical skills required to care for our babies.
If that wasn't enough to peak your interest, also consider that our NICU service includes a neonatal transport team which averages 200 transports per year. Our care also incorporates Nitric Oxide Ventilation, Developmental Programs, Kangaroo Care and Massage Therapy.

Requirements:
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, current Texas RN license, 3-5 years of Level III NICU experience and previous supervisory or charge nurse experience. Candidates with a Master's degree are preferred. CPR/BLS, NRP and STABLE are required. RNC is strongly preferred.
