Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Critical Assess Hospital. 3 member medical team. Service approximately 2,500 possible patients. Medstar helicopter accessible. Tele-radiology and Tele- ER. Position Title: Midlevel Practitioner, PAC or ARNP Hours: 4 days a week in the clinic ~ 8am-5pm, 2 nights a week & one weekend ER on-call these are typical hours not set. Years of experience and education dependent. Negotiated salaried position. Year long contracts. Shift differentials: Extra compensation for additional on-call hours, past contracted hours. General description of the position. Assists the Physician in care of clinic, hospital, long-term care and ER patients. See patients independently: evaluate, diagnose and treat. # of years experience required and desired 5-10 years family practice experience. Experience working independently in an ER setting. Education requirements ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and Conscious Sedation required. PALS optional. Dictation methods using the S.O.A.P format completed with in 48 hours. License/certification requirements Current WA State License. Board certified family practice. DEA license. Qualities required specific to this job(demeanor, etc.) Calm focused bedside manner. Able to connect with community member/patients. Works well independently in emergent situations. Desire to live in small community. Timely completion of paperwork.
