Long term acute care hospital in north central Colorado is seeking a Chief Clinical Officer.
The CCO will establish staffing requirements for recruitment, selection and placement of personnel; verify nurses credentials;
ensure in-service training and education for all department personnel;
recommend space and resources needed by department;
work with Quality Director on improvement projects; plan, develop, implement and control Nursing Department budget; assist in planning fiscal budget;
review Hospital Plan for Nursing Care on a yearly basis; represent Nursing Services on hospital and medical staff committees;
develop long-term and short-term goals/objectives consistent with hospitals philosophy.
Will also serve as Chairperson of Nurse Council, and participate in hospitals decision-making structures, working with Governing Board, MBC, Senior Management Committee and Quality Council.
Prior experience in Nurse Management , Nurse Manager positions, Director of Nursing jobs, Chief Nursing Officer job and LTAC job is a plus.

Work Experience:
Qualifications include: Bachelors degree in Nursing with current state license or licenseable in California;
Masters Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or clinical specialty preferred;
equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements; should have experience in an acute care hospital or an LTAC;
minimum 5 years experience in healthcare administration/management with a minimum of 2 years in a senior management level;
minimum of 5 years experience in hospital management in an acute care environment.
Prior experience in Nurse Management jobs, Director of Nursing job, CNO jobs, Nurse Director jobs and Long Term Acute Care job is a plus.
Salary:
Salary range is $115K to $130K plus 25% annual bonus and relocation assistance.
