Full time M-F hours tbd Days Position Summary: · Nuclear Medicine Technologists are entrusted to apply their education in the art of imaging the human body with radionuclides with the intent of providing excellent diagnostic images for the treatment of injury and disease. Required Qualifications : · Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program · ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registered or Registry Eligible · NM State Certification for Radiologic Technology Duties and Responsibilities: · Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures at a professional and technical level not requiring constant supervision. · Ascertains that Joint Commission standards and specialty recommendations are met for the Specials department. · Understand the basic reporting system for position: Radiology Director, Radiology Supervisor, Charge Technologist, Sr. Radiologic Technologist · Understand the transfer and viewing of images through the P.A.C.S. system · Understand the ordering system through the R.I.S. (Radiology Information System) · Coordinate Nuclear Medicine exams with radiologist or related physicians as needed. · Maintain, clean, and re-stock Special procedure room when needed. · Participates in setting patient care standards and formulating procedures within the Nuclear Medicine department. · Each employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC's Service Standards into their daily work · Transportation of patients as needed · Assumes responsibility for own personal continuing education and developmental needs. Attends meetings, workshops and conventions to increase clinical skills. · Maintains Employee education training record. · Maintains current CPR certification. · Adheres to radiology dress code. · Maintains confidentiality of all Hospital matters i.e.: patients HIPAA · Provide professional communication with staff and patients. · Conducts self in a professional manner consistent with the values of San Juan Regional Medical Center . · Each employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC's Service Standards into their daily work.
