Job Posting Title NP/PA-Urgent Care/Family Medicine, Deer River City and State Deer River, MN Department FAMILY/GENERAL PRACTICE Physical Location (building) DEER RIVER CLINIC Auto req ID 9227BR Job Description Utilizing advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Nurse Practitioners provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in the age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
Clinic based practice expanding Urgent Care coverage to hours of 7am. to 8 pm. Full-time position.
Education/Experience: PA: Bachelor's degree in a health/science-related field. NP: Masters degree in nursing. Urgent Care or ER experience desirable.
Licensure/Credentials 1. Current licensure as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in appropriate state. (NP) Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state. 2. Current certification in CPR. 3. National certification. 4. Successful completion of SMDC credentialing process prior to practice
