Responsibilities:
1Circulates cases as it relates to the unit scope of care.
2 Scrubs cases as it relates to the unit scope of care.
3 Participates in the management and supervision of daily operations of the OperatingRoom.
4 Exercises sound judgment and decision-making skills on behalf of patient, self, and peers.
5 Pursues opportunities to enhance personal and/or professional growth.
6 Communicates effectively with staff, peers, physicians, and other departments.
7 Organizes work to complete duties efficiently and effectively.
8 Demonstrates competency in providing patient/family education.
9 Serves as a professional member of the OR team.
10 Adheres to hospital policies and procedures, supports the mission of the hospital.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE
Required -At least three years experience as a Registered OR Nurse,must includeNeuro Case experience.
Preferred - Previous managerial experience preferred.
EDUCATION
Required -Graduate from accredited School of Nursing with current license in Commonwealth of Virginia.
Preferred -Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
CERTIFICATION
Required -ACLS/BLS
