GREATER TUCSON AREA
Concentric Healthcare Solutions is currently looking for CT Technologists for PRN within the Tucson Area for PRN/Per Diem opportunities at hospitals and outpatient imaging facilities. Shifts beginning soon, must be available to interview immediately.
*ACUTE CARE/HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED*
PLEASE NOTE that all candidates must be registered with ARRT with at least 2 yrs experience, beginning after education/clinical requirements completed. Candidates only registry eligible will not be considered.
CT responsibilities include:
- Utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.
- Must be able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. Must be in good health, because maneuvering equipment and patients who are disabled may pose physical challenges.
- CT scanners emit radiation, which can be harmful for the technologist and patient if proper safety procedures are not followed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited Radiography Program.
- Current ARRT in RT(R)(CT).
- Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
- Prefer at least 2 years relevant outpatient experience.
- Current Health Certificate (Pre-employment Physical)
- Current PPD or indicated Chest X-Ray
- Current BLS card
