Qualifications:Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology. Licensed for NYS in Radiologic Technology. Register for certificate from NYS for Injections. Advanced Certification from ARRT in MRI within one year of employment; current certification from ARRT in MRI preferred. Understand written and verbal instructions. Manual dexterity for manipulating function of equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills ferences:Experienced MRI tech. Must have flexible hours of availability. Summary:Under the direction of the radiologist, performs MRI procedures at the technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative, to apply prescribed imaging for diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as required.
