Description Operates diagnostic equipment and performs a variety of technical diagnostic imaging procedures in MRI and general radiography. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Provides emergency care, notifying appropriate personnel and ensures that patient safety is not jeopardized. Performs MRI safety on a daily basis. Minimum Requirements Two year degree One year of previous experience as a MRI Tech. Registered by ARRT Registered in MRI. Licensed by TX DOH.
