MRI Tech Registry Plan A Department: EMH MRI Schedule: Registry Shift: As Needed Hours: Job Details: Job Summary: The MRI Technologist has the primary responsibility and accountability for performance of radiographic studies by applying magnetic resonance for the diagnosis of disease according to policy/procedure and patient standards of care. Qualifications: Self-directed in gaining knowledge and skills, able to work independently. Good manual dexterity needed. Results oriented with concern for appropriate processes. Customer service oriented; is able to work successfully in a team environment. Must be flexible to scheduling changes including scheduled overtime, weekend hours and holidays. Education: 1. CPR certification and re-certification according to hospital policy. 2. Graduate of AMA approved school or Radiological Technology. 3. MRI Certificate Experience: 1.
