Supervises the technical administrative and professional operations of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) section. Performs MRI procedures and provides patient care. Reports to the Manager and/or Director of Diagnostic Imaging. Coordinates MRI Technologists and students assigned to the area.
Job Requirements:
Completion of an accredited two year or four year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Three years of MRI Tech experience. Supervisory experience preferred. American Registry of Radiologist Technology Radiology. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. MRI certification preferred.
