MONITOR TECH/SEASONAL Centralized Telemetry Department: Centralized Telemetry 16013 Schedule: seasonal full-time Shift: Variable Hours: 7a-7p or 7p-7a w/every other weekend Job Details: - High school diploma or GED required
The Monitor Technician works collaboratively with the nursing staff and physicians. Their primary responsibility is continuous surveillance of patients being monitored and accurate arrhythmia urately analyzes and reports all rhythm strips, to include: rhythm interpretation, measurements, heart rate, Pr, QRS, QT, blocks and dysrythmias. Reports to appropriate personnel and oncoming shift concerns that should be monitored, ie; Rhythms, dysrhythmias, Code status, and medication drips. Maintains and documents appropriate alarm parameters for each patient. . * Prior experience as a Monitor Technician preferred, some experience in medical field required. * Position will start ASAP for approximately 6 mos. * Have completed and passed a Basic Cardiac Rhythms class . * Will be required to pass a NCH Cardiac Arrthymia test within 90 days of hire.
