Within this integral position, you will be responsible for targeting and securing profitable new business in hospital accounts by building relationships and aligning with regional and national marketing strategies. You will also provide overall support and expertise to new accounts ensure clients receive highest level of quality service, resolve problems when necessary and educate new customers on all Quest Diagnostics' processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely transactions. The Hospital Account Manager will also: Partner Hospital Service Representatives to effectively transition the continuing customer relationship responsibility. Partner with Genomics/Esoteric Testing Specialist to jointly sell profitable specialty/esoteric testing products to targeted specialty accounts. Participate with local leadership in developing overall business unit plans for increasing volume and profitability through implementation and execution of national strategies and initiatives. Prepare and present proposals and bids by using all standard processes, procedures and templates. Stay abreast of changes in the market place impacting customers. Maintain a working knowledge of company products and those of competitors and share this information with leadership. Ensure total compliance with all company polices and government regulations. We require: A BA/BS in Business, Marketing or the Life Sciences Extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry and general economics of business 5 years of successful front line sales experience and strong closing" skills A valid drivers license Our ideal candidate must also possess: Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Software If you have the dedication and analytical skills to help power our efforts, we invite you to join us on our journey.
