Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician Department: Laboratory (15382) Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day shift Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00pm; E/O weekend and holiday Job Details: * Micro biology Section:Duties include set ups, EIA's, stains and plate reading.
Performs complex and moderately complex medical laboratory tests, procedures and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Performs and analyzes quality control measures to ensure accurate clinical data. Performs and documents preventive maintenance on lab instruments and equipment, troubleshooting problems as necessary. Assists in the training of new hires and uirements:Bachelor of Science or related degree from an accredited 4 year college, MT (ASCP) certification and one (1) year clinical laboratory experience required OR Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related lab science from a 2-year accredited college and MLT (ASCP) certification required.
