Medical Technologist-Full-time
Ministry Door County Medical Center, a critical access facility in northeast Wisconsin, has served the health care needs of the Sturgeon Bay/Door County area since 1943. The hospital offers a full range of acute care services and specialties, as well as a skilled nursing facility for long-term care and rehabilitation services. Three-fourths of the organization's business is comprised of clinical and outpatient services and reaches out to locations throughout Door County and northern Kewaunee County. Some key services include cardiac rehabilitation, a cancer/radiation oncology treatment center, comprehensive diagnostics, physical, occupational and speech therapy centers, respiratory care/rehab/sleep disorders center, a new outpatient surgical center, emergency/urgent care services and new units for medical/surgical care, ICU and the birthing center.
Duties:
Under minimal supervision, performs a wide variety of complex clinical testing and procedures; maintains and/or calibrates highly scientific equipment; troubleshoots questionable results using technical knowledge and experience. Directs and trains Medical Laboratory Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, and Laboratory clerks.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology and/or Associate Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences with successful completion of internship at an accredited school of Medical Technology.
Experience: Prior clinical laboratory experience preferred. Microbiology expertise a plus.
Certifications: Must be ASCP Certified or eligible.
Shift- Working 40 hours a week with rotating wkends and holidays.
