• Growing billing company in northeast New Jersey is seeking a full-time, on-site Senior Medical Coder. This company works with provider-side billing clients.
• RESPONSIBILITIES: Hands-on coding of both inpatient and outpatient records, particularly OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Cardiovascular and Pediatrics.

  Prior experience in Medical Records job, Medical Records Management, HIM jobs or other prior RHIT jobs a plus.

• QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree a plus;
  2. Must have CPC or CCS-P certification
  3. 3-5 years multi-speciality coding experience.
  4. Ability to work in a high volume, hands-on coding environment.
  5. Should be well versed in Regulatory Compliance / Coding Compliance.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience in Medical Records employment, Jobs in Medical Records, Medical Records Administrator or a Medical Records position is a plus.

• $50K to $60K depending on experience
