Patient Service Specialist Position Location: Philadelphia, PA Salary: Negotiable Minimum Education: High School, Associate Degree Preferred Minimum Experience: 3+ years clerical experience in the medical field WORKNET Occupational Medicine managed by NovaCare Rehabilitation is a group of medical facilities that focus on physician-owned occupational medical practices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our goal is to treat patients within these practices in efforts to keep the working population in American healthy and fit. We accomplish this by providing superior work-related injury treatment, drug & alcohol testing, physical exams, vaccinations, and injury-prevention training programs. We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Patient Service Specialist for our South Philadelphia clinic. The position requires a friendly, fast-paced, multi-tasking individual, as this particular facility is an extraordinarily busy practice. The position offers medical, dental, and disability benefit packages and 401K retirement plans. In addition, the work days are from Monday Friday, no weekends or holidays. The applicant should have excellent clerical skill specific to taking answering multi-lined phones, scheduling patients, patient check-in & check-out, medical triage, and knowledge in Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc.). The ideal candidate should have clinical skill as well (i.e. -vitals, medical triage, phlebotomy, administering vaccinations, and general clinical knowledge). All candidates MUST have over three (3) years of clerical experience and a certificate or degree from an accredited program specific to medical reception. Some Occupational Medicine experience is preferred (Drug testing, Alcohol testing, Spirometry, Audiograms, Fit Testing).
