MEDICAL OFFICE TECHNOLOGIST I - CARILION CLINIC VELOCITY CARE-URGENT CARE DALEVILLE
**This position is located Carilion Clinic Velocity Care in Daleville, VA***
Basic Functions: Support Carilions hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Perform either laboratory or radiologic procedures as directed by the physician/provider. Assist with direct patient care and promote work flow as needed and directed by clinical staff. Complies with all Carilion Clinic policies and standards. Will be responsible for 2 Velocity Care facilities on a rotating basis and scheduled according to facility needs. Hours: Monday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with every other weekend.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology Program (or equivalent training) or graduate of accredited Medical Lab Technology Program (or equivalent training) required.
Experience: Previous clinical, lab, or x-ray experience preferred. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Medical Laboratory Technologist (ML T) (ASCP or equivalent), or AART Certification as Mammography Technologist (or required credit hours in mammography). AHA BLS-HCP required.

Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication skills. Computer skills helpful.
