Medical Office Specialist and CPR Instructor

As a Medical Office Specialist Instructor you will provide your students with the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the medical field.
Job Duties Include: Provide students with a complete syllabus containing course objectives on the first day of class. Present enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus. Continually promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving and decision-making. Provide the student with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework and projects. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance. Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of all school policies, and actively participate in their implementation and enforcement.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include: Current CPR certification as a trainer through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association Medical Office Specialist or Billing & Coding Certificate 3 7+ years experience in all aspects of Medical Front Office operations, including ICD-9-CM, third party billing, and general medical assisting. Ability to be highly organized, & detail oriented Excellent persuasive communication skills Ability to interact effectively and professionally with students, parents, staff & faculty Consistently display the highest levels of integrity Exceptional social & customer focused skills Prior career-school experience a plus Teaching experience a plus, but not necessary Online teaching experience++ Proven record of achievement Associate Degree from an accredited college or university (Bachelors degree preferred)
