Medical Billing Specialist
At Addus Healthcare, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset. We have a position open for a qualified Medical Biller. We seek individuals with billing experience and solid knowledge of medical reimbursement fundamentals.
As an Addus Medical Billing Specialist at our Support Center in Palatine, IL, you will:
Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of the billing process for a defined set of locations and payers
Submit electronic and manual claims adhering to strict deadlines
Provide billing guidance and support to branch locations
Maintain optimal communication and rapport with payers and branches
Offer input and maintain reporting requirements relative to assigned accounts
Requirements:
Two years of medical billing experience in a very high volume, dead-line sensitive setting is REQUIRED
Medical claims experience required - including electronic submissions.
Knowledge of governmental payer requirements (i.e., Medicare and Medicaid) a plus
Solid history of proven success with Accounts Receivable
Advanced computer proficiency - Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
Customer Service Orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level interest in being part of a dynamic and growing team
