Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Flex for late office hrs Description: Primary Job Function: Perform efficient continuity of patient care; respond promptly to provider direction to assist in meeting the patient need; ability to react quickly and exercise independent judgment while performing functions that consistently fall within the scope of practice; demonstrate flexibility, motivation and commitment that results in a positive impact on the delivery of patient quality care.
Education Requirements: Medical Assistant program completion and eligible for certification examination. Specialized knowledge in EKG, injections, venipuncture, performance of lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and age specific competencies. 3-5 years in medical office operations with EMR experience desired.
Qualification Summary: Current Medical Assistant certification and CPR certificate. Medical office/EMR experience preferred; CMA preferred.
