National Registered/National Certified Medical Assistant (RCMA) Per Diem Shifts Available
Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, taking medical histories, vital signs, giving injections, scheduling of test and treatments and assisting the physician during the examination. Must have experience with explaining medical procedures to patients, calling in prescriptions to pharmacies, collecting laboratory specimens, drawing blood, removing sutures and administering electrocardiograms.
Minimum two years experience with one year recent hospital experience within the last 12 months. Qualified candidates must have National Registration/Certification credentials from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), The National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) or The National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).Hours and days will vary per diem staffing must have current American Heart Association BLS.
