MANAGER OF EMPLOYEE HEALTH &WORKERS COMPENSATION

SUMMARY:

Responsible for management of the workers compensation program, coordination with the third party claims administrator and coordination/accountability for the employee health function. Coordinates the employee health process and programs, provides case management and coordination of the Worker's Compensation program and provides employee health and safety education and monitoring. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory agency requirements pertaining to the employee health and insuring hospital-wide compliance in policy and in practice. Responsible for managing and communicating a high degree of complex information.

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

State of Florida RN license. BLS. COHN certification is preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. BSN Preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

3 years experience in employee health, occupational medicine or related nursing work. Experience with worker's compensation and case management is required. Leadership experience is preferred.
