Job Description
This position is responsible for managing and leading the day-to-day operations of the Medical Products Commercial Reporting and Analytics department. This team leads the creation, automation, and optimization of advanced commercial reporting, metrics, scorecards, trend analysis, and related strategic initiatives in support of US Medical Products (Renal, Specialty Pharmaceuticals, BioPharma Solutions, and Fluid Systems). This position plays a key role in building positive business partnerships (internal and external), providing relevant data in support of customer and product strategy and tactics, communicating commercial results, and supporting process improvement. This position will have significant interaction with all USMP business leaders and departments, including IT, Commercial Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Senior Management.
Specific Duties include but are not limited to:
•Accountable for the short-term and long-term strategic plan of the department
•Lead simplification and improvement of system processes that drive operational efficiency and results attainment
•Partner with Commercial Excellence and Process Automation teams to define, develop, and implement process automation opportunities
•Partner with IT in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of information systems and optimization tools to drive the business and achieve desired results
•Responsible for standard operating procedures and the maintenance of those procedures
• Manages staffing requirements, training employees, and development of team members
Job Requirements
•Demonstrated experience leading projects and/or personnel, with proven success influencing clients, customers, and team members
•Clear and concise communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
•Innovative thinker with strong problem solving and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a matrix environment
•Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into progressive solutions and prioritize work across the franchises
•Deadline and results oriented
•Proven experience, knowledge, and skills related to defining and optimizing reporting and analytical needs, deploying action plans, and determining future capabilities
•Dedication to meeting/exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
• In depth knowledge of the USMP businesses, products, and sales structures is preferred Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years experience with data management, business analysis and solution design/development is required.
