Job Summary: Reporting to the assigned Emergency Nurse Manager, the Management Coordinator, Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day operations for the Emergency Department 1 and 2 unit. This position works with other leadership staff to develop the annual capital and operating budget, supervise/mange staff and implement programs that reflect current needs and anticipated changes/expansion of services for the hospital/organization. Job Requirements: Current California RN license. BSN required; Master''s Degree in health administration, management, or related field preferred. Previous management/clinical experience may be considered in lieu of education. 3-5 years previous related department experience. One year leadership experience (i.e. charge nurse). Basic proficiency with computer systems (word processing and spreadsheets). CQI team experience. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written skills. Physical Requirements: Sit up to 8 hours/day Stand/Walk: 3-6 hours Bend: Up to 3 hours Rep Use of UE: Up to 8 hours Lift/Push/Pull: 15 lbs This job requires the ability to hear alarms, clients and/or instruction.
